Tim Graham, 79, passed away on March 23, 2024, surrounded by his family, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Akron on June 9, 1944, to the late Clarence and Edith Graham.
Tim grew up in Green and was an area resident all his life. He attended Green High School and joined the United States Air Force serving as an airplane mechanic in the 27th Fighter Interceptor Squadron mostly working on F-106 Delta Dart planes from 1962-1966. After the Air Force Tim worked at Goodyear and retired from S&S Car Care. He then went on to work part-time at Synergy Solutions. He volunteered for the Greentown Fire Department as an EMT and Fire Fighter. Tim loved the outdoors, and camping, and was an avid hunter. Most of all he cherished time spent with his family.
Along with his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his brothers, Wallace, George, and Paul Graham; sister, Ruth Baldwin and son-in-law, Harry Anderson. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Beth Graham; daughters, Justine Anderson, Jackie (Monte) Polen, Linda Grahl, Joyce (Gary) Silvis, Jerri (Darren) Long, Kelli (Bryan) Burress and Melissa (Steve) Maxon; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Nevel and Vicki Graham; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank the Akron General Cancer Treatment Center of Green for providing care and support during his courageous battle with cancer.
A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Greensburg Church of God, 4691 Massillon Road, Green, Ohio 44262. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319, or for one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.
